The Heritage Lounge was created to make day centre services for older adults meaningful, welcoming, and enjoyable. It is a beautifully designed, supportive environment, where older adults can come together, connect with friends, take part in engaging daytime activities, and remain actively involved in their local community.
In today’s busy world, older adults can sometimes feel isolated or rushed. That’s why The Heritage Lounge is designed as a relaxing, friendly place where every visit feels personal and comforting, like catching up with friends at your favourite local café or garden centre, with thoughtful care and support always close at hand.
More than just a day centre, The Heritage Lounge is a place where older adults are celebrated, independence is supported, and meaningful daily connections happen naturally.
Our structured daytime programme includes morning tea gatherings, hosted games and quizzes, live music sessions, classic films in our cinema, book club, gentle exercise classes, arts and crafts workshops, and much more. Each experience is carefully curated to promote wellbeing, social connection, and enjoyment throughout the day.
